Winter Solstke
The Yuletide Celebration, also known as the Winter Solstice event,
is a daytime
event that takes place
on the first three weekends in December. The festival features live music, craft vendors, food, games,
entertainment, and camping.
Additionally, there are special appearances by Krampus, competitions, Highland Games, full-contact
combat championships, mounted archery, European Martial Arts demonstrations, and horseback rides. The
weather at this time of year is typically cold, so guests and performers are dressed in layers and furs,
giving the event a magical, movie-like atmosphere.
